Every since I started this blog I have been torn on what names to use for my kiddos. I want a sense of anonymity but not lose their identity. If you know me personally, you know that the title has meaning. So I tried out Sissy and Big Sister and I honestly don’t like it. Little Man is working out and he really is Little Man. So from here on out my daughter will be TinkerBean. She has a great love for the Fairy and she’s always been my little bean.
Little Man is still sick and I think he’s getting sicker. Yesterday’s high temperature was 103.7 and so far today he’s averaged 102.5. The lack of sleep is turning him into a bratosaurus. We did come home from taking TinkerBean to school and return to bed. He took a much needed 4 hour nap, that I fear will come back to haunt me tonight. Nothing is making him happy and I feel so bad I can’t take it away. Little Man missed school again today and it’s not looking good for Church this weekend. I do see another trip to the pediatrician in our immediate future.
Tomorrow we (Little Man and I) are taking a rescue dog to an elementary school to meet their civil service club. They have been raising money to help with her surgery and want to meet her. She
happens to be a wonderful girl and I think she’ll have a great time. The school is calling it “I love Lucy” day! Too cute!

Today was a pivotal day for TinkerBean and her boyfriend. Evidently, now there is a little love triangle with TinkerBean, boyfriend L, and boy P. It’s very Twilight (minus the vamps and shifters). I talked with boyfriend L’s mom and she said he talked about TinkerBean all night last night and early this morning he was waiting on her to go into their class. It’s very cute. I think L must have had a bad day and TinkerBean hugged P before she left today. As soon as she turns 8 she’s going to a locked tower with a dragon bodyguard! Her teacher even said, “I don’t know what you’re going to do with her when she’s a teenager!” Oy vey! However, TinkerBean and Little Man’s nana pointed out to me that what I did as a teen would come back to me. Thanks, Karma! Add the fact that TinkerBean is half me and half Motorcycle Man; we are doomed. Enter the need for a dragon. So if you see any dragons needing a home, let me know, I’m in the market for one.
On the furry note, Boxer dog has decided the cats are great tasting toys. Fat Cat got a top to bottom bath from Boxer dog today. This is probably the first bath Fat Cat has had in quite a few years. It was highly entertaining to watch, Fat Cat sat still and moved so Boxer could get those harder to reach areas. Boxer dog did get a dental treat afterward! I wanted to get to the camera, but was afraid they’d run.
